Anita Oberwortmann, Founder and CEO

In 1978, Anita started Wilson Building Maintenance with a broom and a mop. 43 years and over 200 employees later, Anita remains the CEO of the company. She lives with her dog Jade and has three married children and seven grandchildren. Outside of work, Anita enjoys feeding the wildlife around her house, tending to her home and yard, hanging out with Jade and trying different restaurants.

Fun fact about yourself: First woman chair of YMCA, Boy Scouts, Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce.

I love working at Wilson because… The great employees I have. It’s my creation so I love watching the transformation of being a one woman crew to over 200 employees.

BRIAN HIEGERT

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Brian Hiegert, Chief Operating Officer

Brian has been with Wilson for over 20 years. He oversees the management teams, building maintenance, and day to day account operations. Brian works closely with Wilson staffing, owners, property managers, facility managers, tenants and vendors to provide quality services, innovative solutions and concepts to strengthen our relationship within the service industries. Brian enjoys hiking and biking with his wife Emily and son, boating, camping, and woodworking.

Fun fact about yourself: I was the last of nine kids and a staff member of the KSU football team.

I love working at Wilson because… great family and business values. The challenges it brings in working with and providing services to a large and diverse business community and the ever-changing needs. Always learning and improving.

JOLENE TRITSCHLER

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Jolene Tritschler, Chief Financial Officer

Jolene is Wilson’s trusted CFO. She has been with us for almost a decade. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family—husband Frank, three adult kids and three cats.

Fun fact about yourself: I have extreme ophidiophobia!

I love working at Wilson because…It’s like my second family. We all get along great and work as a team.

DUSTIN SORENSEN

MARKET DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Dustin Sorensen, Market Development Manager

Dustin joined us in 2013. In his own words, Dustin “seeks, sows, and create” marginally profitable opportunities through marketing, advertising, networking, managing, and selling our products and services to a wide array of industries. Dustin currently serves as the BOMA Wichita President (Building Owners and Managers Association) and he is also an active member of IFMA. Outside of work, Dustin enjoys hanging out with his girlfriend Kelly, daughter Leila and furry kids Gus and Lulu. He is also a yoga enthusiast, and likes to spend time doing outdoor activities, sports, and reading.

Fun fact about yourself: I have the same birthday as JFK.

I love working at Wilson because…Getting to work with people who are like family is priceless, and bearing the responsibility of representing those people is a blessing.

LYDIA DIAZ

PERSONNEL DIRECTOR

Lydia Diaz, Personnel Director

Lydia is responsible for all HR and Personnel relations, processing weekly payroll, and customer service. She has been with us for 15 years. Lydia is married to Jose and has two beautiful daughters, Andreya, 11, and Cynthia, 6. She likes to spend quality time with her family, such as cooking together, singing karaoke, going camping and bowling.

Fun fact about yourself: I recorded a studio album when I was 17 years old and was in a local band for three years.

I love working at Wilson because… it feels like we are a family, every day is completely different, there is never a dull moment.

MARTHA HYNES

Martha Hynes, Administrative Assistant

Martha has been with us for over 6 years. She is the pretty face that greets you when you walk into our building, and the friendly voice that picks up the phone when you call. She also assists in hiring, billing, inventory control and many other administrative duties. Martha is married with 2 kids and 3 cats, and she loves to read and garden.

Fun fact about yourself: We have three cats named after foods—Pickles, Muffins and Pepie (short for pepperoni).

I love working at Wilson because…of the family atmosphere.

Ricardo is one of Wilson’s supervisors. He oversees the crew at certain job sites. Ricardo has been with us for 10 years! Outside of work, Ricardo enjoys watching basketball games.

Fun fact about yourself: I like to hard work and pay attention to everything that I do.

I love working at Wilson because… They treat their workers well and motivate them to do well at their jobs.

Maria has been with Wilson for 26 years. As a supervisor, she says "my job is to make sure that the job is done correctly and for there not to be any complaints." She enjoys spending her free time with her family.

Deisy Mejia, Supervisor

Deisy has been with us for 16 years. She oversees and manages the building maintenance of various facilities to ensure it meets Wilson’s standards. Facilities include Commerce – Waterfront, Hinkle Law Building, Kansas Turnpike Authority and several other Commerce, Emprise and Mid-American Bank branches. Deisy is married and has five adult children. She likes to spend time with her family, watch movies and to garden.

Fun fact about yourself: I was born and raised in Honduras.
